MOST DESIRABLE ROOFS AVAILABLE TODAY
Aluminium roof lantern, skylight and flat roof skylight are all terms used to describe a glazed structure constructed within a flat roof system. Our aluminium lantern roof systems come in a broad range of both standard and bespoke sizes.
Using premium aluminium slim line technology, Hehku are able to combine stunning aesthetics with outstanding thermal performance to produce one of the most eye-catching products available for orangery extension, glazed extension or kitchen extension projects. Incredibly strong materials and versatile design creates reduced sightlines and slim profiles, allowing for more glazing, better insulation and increased sunlight.

Our aim is to ensure our customers enjoy beauty, elegance and performance every single day. Hehku transform living spaces and lead the market in conservatory and orangery design. Our aluminium roof lanterns perfectly compliment any glazed home extension with beautiful aerial views. So, whether you’re inside looking out, or outside enviously looking in, a roof lantern is an ideal finishing touch.
Transform your roof into a stunning contemporary architectural feature, creating open-plan layouts and high roof spaces. Externally, the rafters can be capped with a flat extrusion to create an ultra-modern look.
With our advanced engineering, we can design aluminium roof lanterns to give the impression of a traditional timber frame roof by incorporating a slimline profile and classic proportions.
With unrivalled intelligent styling, thermal efficiency, security and simple installation, the 'Edge' rooflight solution ticks every box.
Its polished edge to edge glass exterior is not only a stunning evolution of its rivals, but in turn brings many practical benefits. Its clever design allows any water to simply glide off its surface, and not be hindered by perimeter sealants or protruding frames. Standing only 63mm above the roof upstand, it will blend seamlessly into any project.
Whilst allowing maximum light to flood in, the 'Edge' is constantly working very hard to keep unwanted heat out, and the ambient room temperature constant, giving you the benefit of year-round comfort and performance.
Hehku Aluminium roof lanterns offer the very best thermally insulated rafter designs. A U-Value (W/m2K) is quite simply a measure of heat loss from a building structure - such as a roof, door, or a window and frame. A high U-Value means thermal insulation is poor whilst a low U-Value indicates a good thermal insulation. As a glazed roof is made up of both glass and rafters, you need low U-Values from both. Our aluminium roof rafter has a U-value of 1.5, which is twice as thermally efficient as our nearest rival, who measure in excess of 3.
Extreme weather and loads will rapidly weaken inferior roofing systems, but aluminium structures have been independently tested as one of the strongest systems available in the UK domestic conservatory market, able to withstand 33% greater live loads (wind/snow) than other roof manufacturers. We do this by subtly reinforcing the rafters in larger spans, which has the added benefit of removing unsightly bolster bars, and ensures roofs are perfect for large lanterns and lean-to conservatories.
Super-slim, thermally broken aluminium rafter sections have a subtle appearance that allow for even more glass and therefore more natural light. External caps can be either bevelled or flat depending on your requirements and building design. Whatever you are looking for, we will ensure your home looks simply stunning.
Huge range of colour options
Roofs can be specified in any RAL colour, and our experienced designers are always on hand to discuss colour swatches and offer advice. Whether you are blending in or making a statement, there will certainly be a colour that perfectly complements your project.
